Research Interests
I am currently using the wavelet software package of S.Mallat/Zhong to analyse standard Brodatz textures. By comparing this with standard fractal dimension methods, Dr. Smith and I have developed new method to segment digital images. We call our approach "Fractal Dimension Segmentation (FDS)". Please read our papers below to learn more.
