Thesis Template

If you haven't checked out the thesis information page from the Graduate Office yet, click here now.

As of May of 2003, there is a new official Georgia Tech LaTeX thesis template, version 1.6, developed by Chuck Wilson. You can get a copy of the thesis template distribution from Chuck's web page or from CTAN.org. This template is patched from time to time as the Graduate Office points out problems, so it's best to check Chuck's page for patches periodically. (The CTAN version may not contain all the latest patches.)

After downloading, follow the installation directions in the install file. There are some sample theses in the distribution that demonstrate how to use the template.

Presentation template (beamer slides)

A LaTeX presentation (slides) template has been created for use by CSIP students to generate slides for presentations. This uses the LaTeX Beamer presentation package. The zip file has a file with instructions to use beamer to make presentations and using the template. It also provides a modified beamer theme suitable for Georgia Tech or CSIP presentations that uses the gold, yellow, blue colors as shown in the preview below.

If you would like help using or improving this template, please contact Rajbabu Velmurugan, Greg Krudysz, or Toygar Akgun.
