Lingchen Zhu was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu, China. He received Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Southeast University, China in 2008 and received Master of Science degree in Communication and Information System of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and another Master of Science degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering of Georgia Institute of Technology both in 2011. Then he started as a PhD candidate and graduate research assistant at the Center for Signal and Information Processing (CSIP) in the School of ECE, GaTech since 2011 fall semester.
His past research interest includes image representation, image modeling and multiscale geometric analysis and its application on video coding when he was pursuing his Master's degrees. His current research interest includes DSP for wireless telecommunication systems and interference mitigation and cancellation in OFDM systems.
In his leisure time, he is quite good at web designing and he also loves swimming in CRC.
